BLIND TRUST

BLIND TRUST,  follows the story of a struggling 35 year old empathetic immigration lawyer who unwittingly sets up an off shore account for the wrong client. The drama revolves around JOHN O’DONNELL, as he juggles between trying to save a family from the hands of Human Traffickers and dealing with a load of money he finds after a dodgy client has presumably been murdered. Realizing he can’t keep the money , John decides to smuggle it south of the border, but he can’t do it without the help of EL JEFE, a family acquaintance and John’s father figure, who is in search of redemption.

As a filmmaker I am interested in telling stories of others that reflect back to our own society, which in the end, are our own stories.

I believe we are all part of the same story.

In BLIND TRUST I let the characters drive the story. The narrative is consciously open, giving room for the audience to interpret and fill in the blanks. I believe that life is not black or white thus we don’t always have happy endings; but there is always hope.  BLIND TRUST combines real life events with fiction.
